About this opportunity

Welcome to the team MBT FX Business Analysts. We add value by identifying and analyzing new business requirements and driving the implementation in Nordea's FX system landscape. As a Business Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to learn about vendor relationships and contribute to new business initiatives that support the entire FX Franchise.

What you'll be doing:

• Manage vendor relationships and optimize platform operations
• Work with vendor systems and stay current on market developments, with mentoring available for less experienced candidates
• Gather business requirements and drive implementation projects in our FX system landscape
• Create and maintain documentation and participate in knowledge sharing sessions
• Lead or participate in testing activities to ensure quality in deliveries

You'll join a team of skilled and ambitious business analysts with strong FX expertise who will collaborate with you based on your experience level. For junior candidates, we offer mentorship to develop your knowledge, while experienced professionals can immediately contribute their expertise to enhance our trading systems and workflows. The role is based in Helsinki.

• Strong analytical skills and aptitude for complex system integrations
• Show enthusiasm for defining, scoping and implementing solutions
• Proactive, detail-oriented and adaptable to working in a dynamic environment
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Inclusive, value team work and open to sharing ideas

Your experience:

• 2+ years of proven experience in financial markets, preferably in FX trading or other FX trading related areas
• Demonstrated knowledge of trading workflows and vendor based trading systems
• Experience in requirement gathering and implementation of projects
• Hard skills like Python, SQL or other IT skills is an advantage

Your background:

• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technology stakeholders
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in English (speaking a Nordic language is a plus)
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Financial Engineering, Economics, Mathematics or similar
