About this opportunity
Welcome to the Nordic Retail Payments team. We are organised within Payments and CM Product management, where we add value by enabling efficient mobile/e-commerce payment methods, as well as e-invoicing and collection services for our customers across the Nordics. As the Business Developer you’ll play a valuable role in keeping our products attractive, profitable, stable, transparent and compliant.
What you’ll be doing:
- Be an expert in your product/service area towards the value chain.
- Perform strategic Application Management in close cooperation key stakeholders.
- Act as an Application Owner for a portfolio of applications in order to secure operations, maintenance and development according to agreed strategies.
- Perform application Life Cycle Management together with the Application Providers / Technology Service Leaders to maintain application lifecycle roadmap, manage risk and regulatory requirements and ensure owned applications are available and comply with security & application management standards.
- Drive improvements and participate in projects to mitigate risk, reduce cost and ensure quality in customer value solutions.
- Organise, drive and participate in incident handling to mitigate the impact.
- Proactively maintain and operate a portfolio of solutions and processes, and always strive to improve quality, risk and cost to secure relevant, efficient and value-adding solutions for the customers.
You’ll join a forward leaning and innovative team that aims to drive success of digital payments. The role is based in Helsinki, where you will work closely with local colleagues, as well as with the extended team in the Nordics and India.

Your experience and background:
- Ability and ambition to learn both business and technology skills.
- Experience within Application Management and/or in an Application Owner role.
- Experience within Product Management and/or -Development is an asset.
- Experience in Nordea Product Management and Application Management Frameworks.
- Basic understanding of and interest in IT and solution architecture.
- Customer facing experience is a plus.
- Great communication skills in Finnish and in English, both in writing and in speaking.
- Additional skills in Swedish are handy in customer and pan-Nordic communication.
