We are now looking for an Information Architect who will play a pivotal part in driving strategic deliveries in our Data & AI transformation and ensure reliable and high quality data both for business processes and regulatory purposes.

Welcome to LC&I Data Management. We collaborate closely with the LC&I business and help implementing clever data management practises, often in a complex data landscape. Main responsibilities in this role:
- Leading cross-organizational collaboration: Independently collaborate with diverse stakeholders including Service Area/Domain Business Leads, Technology Leads, Architects, Data SMEs etc. to develop comprehensive metadata and information models to enable business objectives
- Driving results through influencing: Drive relevant Data Product deliveries without formal authority by effectively influencing stakeholders and building consensus across the organization
- Stakeholder engagement: Interact with internal stakeholders in LC&I, and coordinate alignment across other Business Areas and Group Functions including Group Technology, GDM and Group Architecture
- AI-powered automation: Develop and implement AI agents to automate manual-heavy processes, enhancing efficiency and reducing operational overhead
- Data Domain expertise: Leverage deep technical and conceptual understanding of LC&I data domains to design robust information architectures that support business objectives
- Data Standards development: Develop data standards and build business information models for Markets data subject areas while ensuring cross data domain alignment and regulatory compliance
- Change leadership: Support business stakeholders in adopting new tools, technologies and methodologies while managing key initiatives under tight timelines and pressure
Who you are
This is the right role for you if you possess:
- Data Product Expertise: Strong understanding of data product development, data reference architecture, and data architecture principles
- Information Architecture Competence: Proven ability to independently collaborate across organizations with different stakeholders to develop comprehensive information models
- Influence and Leadership: Demonstrated track record of driving results through effective stakeholder influence, particularly with senior leadership
- AI and Automation Expertise: Strong competence in developing AI agents and automated solutions to streamline manual-heavy processes and resolve bottlenecks in information architecture workflows
- Data Domain Knowledge: Strong technical and conceptual understanding of key financial data domains, including (but not limited to) market risk & valuation data, trade data, instrument data, and custody & safekeeping data
- Risk & regulatory expertise: Deep understanding of data-related banking regulations (e.g., BCBS 239, CRR/CRD, GDPR, ECB supervisory expectations), with the ability to identify data-related risk exposures, navigate complex regulatory requirements, and translate them into practical controls to ensure robust and sustainable compliance
- Communication and Change Management: Exceptional communication skills with proven change management capabilities and a development-oriented mindset
- Performance Under Pressure: Ability to work effectively under pressure while managing tight timelines and competing priorities
Your background and skills include:
- Strong background in data management and governance, with expertise in leveraging advanced analytics and automation
- Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to lead by example and foster collaborative environments
- Fluent in English (professional level)
- Master’s degree preferred in Finance, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Relevant qualifications in data management, information modelling, or AI/ML are considered an advantage
