About our team
Meet the Internal Engagement and Communication Partnering team. Our role is to support internal Group-wide activities in line with our communication guidelines to support Nordic initiatives and Group strategy across business areas and Group functions.
You will join a high-performing and dedicated team of communication professionals with the ambition to deliver first-class communication and brand experiences. The team supports Business Areas and Group Functions in Nordea, executing business plans and reaching financial targets.

What you'll be doing
Main responsibilities in this role:
- Provide multi-channel communication advice
- Drive strategic communication projects
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders in Business Banking as their communication partner
- Create, drive and manage the strategic communication agenda for Business Banking in close collaboration with the leadership team
- Ensure all messaging is aligned with Business Banking's business priorities and that communication activities are well planned & coordinated
- Craft engaging internal and external content, including articles, presentations and videos
- Drive communication strategies that enhance employee engagement and cultivate a strong sense of belonging and brand ambassadorship to achieve the results we are looking for
- Develop and implement communication plans aligned with the Group strategy and thought leadership themes
When needed, you will support and drive effective change management communication strategies for organisational initiatives, ensuring employees are able to understand and embrace changes. You will provide your stakeholders with well-defined and high-quality strategic communication advice. If you are an inspiring and knowledgeable communicator, that's a plus.
The role is located in either Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen or Oslo.
Who you are
This is the right role for you if you are a skilled communicator with a strategic mindset and the ability to align communication goals with business objectives. You should have expertise in senior stakeholder management and be willing to interact and collaborate with people at different levels, while being analytical and independent in your approach.
Your background and skills include:
- At least ten years' work experience in communication
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Strategic mindset, with the ability to align communication goals with business objectives
- Experience in content development and production
- Proficient writer with good presentation skills
- Good at planning and organising your work
- Analytical and independent
- Experience working collaboratively across departments and the confidence to jump in wherever support is needed
- Proficient English speaker and writer, as English is our corporate language and you will work in a Nordic team
It would be ideal if you also:
- Are a proficient speaker and writer in a Nordic language
