As a Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer, you will design, build and maintain robust data solutions to support our analytical and operational needs within Data, Digital Sales & Engagement.

Meet the Data, Digital Sales & Engagement FI team. Our role is to leverage data, digital sales and engagement to drive informed decisions, optimise customer experiences and accelerate business growth. You’ll work in a cross-functional team with experts in digital customer experience – from marketing and engagement to advanced analytics and machine learning. Together, we create Europe’s best digital banking experience.

What you’ll be doing

 

Main responsibilities in this role: 

  • Design and maintain scalable, secure data infrastructure and pipelines
  • Develop and automate ETL processes and data flows for efficiency
  • Collaborate with data scientists to optimise workflows for analytics and machine learning
  • Establish robust data architecture, governance and best practices across teams
  • Ensure data quality, consistency and availability through effective modelling and integration

Your background and skills include: 

  • Relevant higher education in computer science, informatics, data engineering, data science or similar
  • 2+ years of experience as a Data/Analytics Engineer
  • Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with modern data warehouse solutions (e.g., Snowflake), GitHub, dbt, Airflow
  • Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka
  • Knowledge of modern DevOps practices and too
  • Strong communication skills in English
