About this opportunity
Welcome to the Datacentre team. We are responsible for ensuring continuous operation with no planned down time of Nordea Datacentres. IT services includes equipment rack and stack, power, cabling, cooling and physical access. As the Datacentre Technician, you’ll play an important part in providing technical operational support in Nordea's Datacentres. The work involves several aspects of technical installations/de-installation of Datacentre components, and responsibilities for ensuring our standards are followed and implemented by our colleagues and partners.
What you’ll be doing:

De-/commission of equipment in Nordea DC.

Cabling (Fiber, copper and power) for all IT equipment.

Problem determination on equipment and cabling.

Documentation in our DCIM and CMDB tools.

Supervise and support external partners.
You’ll join a heterogeneous team with good social relationship and collaboration across our teams in Nordics and Poland. The role is based in Helsinki.

Your experience and background:
-
Trained and experienced DC technician.

Electrician background is an advantage.
-
Min. 3 years’ experience working in a larger Data Centre with physical installations.

Min. 3 years’ experience with installing equipment incl. connectivity in critical areas.

Min. 3 years’ experience working with fibre and copper connectivity.
-
Experience working with change management and documentation in DCIM tools.

Language skills: Finnish and English, professional level.
