We are now looking for a highly professional and passionate Expert Business Developer to Transaction Banking Proposition and Growth unit, with a winning attitude to drive our strategic pricing efforts and take our strong offering towards our Nordic markets in the Cash Management, Trade Solution and Cards area to new levels.

 


You will be responsible for driving the Strategic Pricing  in Transaction Banking and execute it.  

 

About our team

 

Our team is innovative, vibrant and collaborate across the value chain. Our  role is to drive the customer centric business development in Transaction Banking in the areas of Cash Management, Trade Solution and Card & Wallets area.  

 

Our team consist of 14 Expert and Senior Business Developers. We are located in Stockholm, Copenhagen and Helsinki. We drive the strategic pricing in TxB, create Playbooks within different product domains, perform Go to market strategies and executions, act as Commercial leads in strategic initiatives, create Blue prints and Customer Journey mapping.

What you’ll be doing

 

As an Expert Business Developer within the Pricing area you will work with setting the pricing strategy in transaction banking, business case creation, optimisation of product strategy, processes, tools and initiatives in Transaction Banking. Stakeholder management with C levels are key to succeed. 

 


We collaborate with CRU and PRU and their data analysts, product managers and sales professionals, among others, to help Nordea reach its targets. 

 

Main responsibilities in this role: 

Together with the Head of Proposition and Growth set the Pricing Agenda in TxB

  • Drive the Pricing agenda in TxB and manage C-level stakeholders at Business Banking, LC&I and in the Product area
  • Be excellent at communication and make clear PowerPoints and in particular use excel in a superior professional way to convey the pricing message
  • Work with our key strategic initiatives by setting optimal pricing structured and building business cases and assessing their benefit realisation
  • Running and improving pricing-related processes
  • Run the annual pricing review
  • Driving initiatives to professionalise our pricing structures, systems and practises
  • Performing analyses on our abilities to improve our pricing, turning them into recommendations and seeing through that they get implemented
  • Analysing the market with a focus on competitor pricing and value propositions 

 
The role will be located in Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen or Oslo and you will report to Marina Repo, Head of Proposition and Growth within TxB Business Development & Open Banking Unit. 

 

Who you are

 

This is the right role for you if you are a driven professional with a strong business acumen and experience from the Cash Management area and/or working with corporate customers. We imagine that you enjoy stakeholder management and communication and are excited about collaboration across the value chain. 

 


Requirements for the role:

  • Be expert in working with data and performing business analysis with the ability to turn data into actionable input for decision-making
  • Examine complex, strategic commercial issues and simplify them into easily understandable calculations, presentations and recommendations
  • Be expert in MS Excel and Powerpoint
  • Have good stakeholder mgmt. abilities and be able to coordinate and communicate skilfully cross the organisation
  • Have experience in working with SQL
  • Have experience in pricing and  business case mgmt.
  • Previous relevant work experience in the Cash Management or SME corporate area as a Relationship Manager
  • Strong communication, collaboration and  excel and power point creation skills with the ability to present to C-level executives.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and customer centric mindset. You are self-driven and independent and can quickly understand key dynamics of new domains
  • Analytical and data driven decision making -as well as possessing an understanding of market positionings

 

Your background and skills include:

  • M.Sc/B.Sc. in economics, business, finance or another relevant field
  • Experience of business development, preferably from consulting and/or a hands on commercial role at a bank/financial institution
  • Excellent written and verbal communications and presentation skills, and power point creation skills. Great ability to collaborate across teams
  • Fluent in English and at least one Nordic language
  • Structured approach to work, with an ability to prioritise tasks, act with trust and transparency create roadmaps, multitask and get things done
