About our team
Nordea Debt Manager is the new SaaS Nordic solution for Debt Collection in Nordea, which seeks to replace legacy Debt Collection solutions. It falls under the scope of the High Risk Service Domain, which supports efficient automated data driven solutions that allow the bank to perform high risk customer management across all customer segments.
As the Expert IT Analyst for this solution, you will have the responsibility of both defining the solution as well as owning the quality of the end product.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own the end-to-end process from requirements gathering through to testing and delivery, ensuring high quality and traceability throughout
- Develop partnerships and collaborate with business stakeholders to understand needs, translate them into actionable requirements and drive alignment across functions in the team e.g. architects, developers, business
- Take strong ownership of the testing strategies related to your refined requirements, working with developers to ensure successful validation before feature release
- Get hands-on with the solution – especially around functional configurations – and work closely with the development to understand, design and influence how business logic is implemented
- Work in agile cross-functional teams and contribute proactively to our BizDevOps culture and continuous improvement

Who you are
To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
- Are a sharp, analytical thinker with a natural drive to challenge assumptions and delve into complex areas below the surface
- Are technically curious and enjoy understanding how systems work – and you’re not afraid to get hands-on with complex configurations and data
- Build trust and collaboration with both technical people and business stakeholders
- Have a strong testing mindset and naturally think about how to validate solutions early as part of the requirement process
- Are proactive, self-driven and comfortable working in an agile, challenging and fast-paced environment
Your experience and background:
- 10+ years experience as IT Analyst/Business Analyst/Developer, of which at least 5 years in an agile environment
- Strong experience in requirements gathering and product analysis
- Technical understanding and interest – you are comfortable discussing systems, logic and data with developers and architects
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and quality assurance processes including defining testable requirements
- Experience working in agile teams and understanding of BizDevOps principles
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience and the ability to bridge gaps between business and IT
- Experience of using Jira and Confluence
It would be also ideal if you would have experience in:
- Demonstrated ability to work with configurable platforms including hands-on involvement in functional configurations
