About our team  

Meet the Equipment Finance IT Development team. Our role is to develop and operate solutions used in equipment finance business at Nordea Finance. Our tech stack is based on a mix of object orientation and functional programming principles accompanied with daily, automated deployments.

What you’ll be doing:

• Translate business requirements into a technical specification
• Implement features and fix bugs in all layers: front-, middle- and backend layers
• Strive to work using industry best practices of software engineering

Who you are

This is the right role for you if you are willing to take ownership by having strong collaboration with stakeholders, team members, and management. You consider support and knowledge sharing to colleagues being part of the job.

Your background and skills include: 

• Experience with object-oriented and strongly typed programming languages e.g. Scala, Java, Elm     
• Web-development experience     
• Work experience in CI/CD environment

It would be ideal if you also:

• Are interested to learn functional programming
