About this opportunity

As a software developer, you will have the possibility to influence how people do digital banking and change Nordea to meet the future expectations of 11 million users. You will be specialized in web application development, however we’ll provide the possibility to contribute across platform boundaries including backend, not limiting into one technology. In essence, we are looking for great people, who are passionate about software development.  

In OneDigital, we master software and technology to create winning customer experiences. What you’ll be doing:

• Acting as a key member in one of our agile teams 
• Coding robust, well-tested, clean code, using latest tools and technologies 
• Working closely with designers to create awesome UI & UX
• Participating in our active developer community, code reviews, dev days, innovation sprints    

The role is based in Helsinki. We work in hybrid mode, couple days a week in office. Welcome to join our team, full of talented developers.

You like working in large scale projects, in Nordic environment with diverse international teams. You don’t need to have a background in financial sector.

About your background / skills:

• At least 1 year of web application development experience, with technologies like Angular/AngularJS, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Hands on experiences at unit testing with technologies like Cypress and Protractor
• Strong theoretical foundation in software development
• Understanding or practical experience of Agile methodologies
• And most importantly: you have delivered code to applications / systems which are in real use
