We are now looking for an IT Lead in Servicing & Advisory in our Digital Engineering unit, One Digital.

About this opportunity

 

We are looking for the IT Lead, for a new development team in the Advisory area. You will build up a new team with help for current leaders in the area, and together with the team, deliver on the journey of uplift and extent the customer communication area.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading a team of engineering professional in building business solutions
  • Engaging, coaching and empowering people to achieve agreed deliverables and goals
  • Taking active part of the delivery of needed customer solutions on equal terms with the other members of the execution team
  • Actively demonstrating focus on business needs and finding technical solutions to solve those needs
  • Ensuring that the team takes full responsibility for delivering working software, all the way from definition to quality assurance and into production

 

This role can be based in Stockholm or Helsinki.

This is a new role which enables freedom to hire your own team and set direction how to develop One Digital forward. As a new Leader, you will receive support from other IT Leaders within One Digital from Finland and Denmark. We use English in our agile teams as our teams are located in different cities and countries. You will receive support from peers how to set-up team meetings, and plan & participate team events. As an active team player, you will contribute to technical solution, as well as people leadership.

 

Servicing & Advisory within Digital Engineering unit is a Product and technology focused area supporting the business needs of the Servicing & Advisory Hub. We will deliver digital solutions that help millions of Nordea customers fulfil their self-servicing, communication and core banking needs. Solutions will cover direct advisor communication, self-service using Nova or our other online channels, as well as core banking functionality such as payments, accounts, loans and cards. In Servicing & Advisory we have the full lifecycle ownership of our solutions and the engineering unit will cover all roles needed for teams to deliver those solutions.

Additional background and/or skillset, that are useful in this role:

  • Experience in financial industry is an advantage
  • Coaching experience
