About this opportunity

 

Welcome to the Service Management team. We add value by running a compliant production environment, ensuring service availability for our customers. As an IT Service Manager you will play a valuable role driving the compliancy topics across your application portfolio, work closely with the business stakeholders and collaborate with IT development.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Oversee the day to day IT service operations carried out by the technical experts, including incident, problem and change management.
  • Drive maintenance and improvement activities throughout the system life-cycle to achieve the SLA/KPI objectives, and ensure sufficient service capacity.
  • Drive application development requirements with IT development teams.
  • Ensure that the applications are compliant.

 

You’ll join Nordea Finance IT Operations and Technology team. The role is based in Helsinki.

Your experience and background: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in Service Management or similar role.
  • Experienced within ITIL framework.
  • Experienced within agile frameworks and DevOps.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills.
  • Understanding of how to manage the system life-cycle.
  • Experience within business-critical end-to-end solutions (Preferably financial domain).
  • Experience working on cross-country and multi-vendor environment.
  • Experience within Finance Company products & IT services.
