We in Nordea are looking for a skilled and motivated architect to join our Service Management (BMC Helix) team. You will, in close collaboration with the internal product team, vendors and stakeholders drive the continuous enhancement of our product suite and help us achieve Nordea’s 2030 strategy. You will become an integral part of an engineering team building practical, compliant, high-impact AI capabilities across Nordea. Meet the ITSM Solution Engineering team. Our mission is to deliver the best in class enterprise service management tech to Nordea. Our team comprises of 20 members which includes ITSM architects, Release train engineers, scrum master, process & product owners, developers, testers and application & operational SMEs. We ensure smooth sailing daily operations, implement strategic enhancements and at the same time analyze and adopt new technologies in the market. We advocate decentralized decision making and we have a very flat hierarchy to encourage this. You will be empowered to make decisions yourself and drive your area with full mandate. Main responsibilities in this role: 

  • Drive the execution of the ITSM strategy and roadmap across a diverse product portfolio targeted towards our 2030 strategy for our product suite that includes BMC Helix, Helix GPT, AIOps, BMC ADDM/Discovery, Digital Workplace, HR LoB, and more. You will provide architectural leadership and expert guidance across these domains.
  • Own and drive the adoption of new platform capabilities by monitoring market trends and proactively identifying opportunities to introduce and leverage emerging technologies within the service management landscape 
  • Own and continuously improve architectural artefacts, ensuring high-quality design standards while evaluating and optimising existing implementations within Nordea.  
  • Act as a key contributor in PI planning and technical discovery activities, conducting feasibility assessments, taking ownership of initiatives, and serving as the go-to technical guru for the team. 
  • Foster close collaboration across teams and departments to streamline ITSM processes, enhance usability, and identify improvement opportunities. Contribute to defining and shaping product strategy in partnership with the product team. 

 

The role can be based in Poland (Warsaw or Tricity area) or Finland (Helsinki).

 

Who you are

Your background and skills include: 

  • You are a seasoned ITSM architect with hands-on development experience in BMC Helix product suite including Helix GPT and AIOPs. 
  • You are an expert in BMC Helix, BMC Discovery, DWP, Business Workflows, Pentaho, AR system and also ITIL framework 
  • You have deep knowledge of LLMs and agentic AI, including piloting and scaling.  
  • You have expertise in handling a diverse product backlog, can handle multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously, can keep a level head and approach conflicts with an open mind and constructive solutioning. 
  • You are someone who is not defined by your job title and can take on multiple hats if needed 

 

It would be ideal if you also:

  • Have great communication skills in English and experienced in working with external vendors 
  • Has good knowledge in SAFe/SCRUM/Agile/ Lean methodologies and TOGAF 
  • Have experience working in a highly regulated environment like banking, pharma etc
