Junior Analyst, Liquidity Adequacy (temporary position)

 

We are looking for a Junior Analyst for liquidity risk area, to join our fast-paced and dynamic field of critical importance in the international finance industry.

 

About our team

 

Meet the the Liquidity Adequacy team. We add value by providing strategic and regulatory advice to internal customers within Nordea Group, as well as serving external customers such as regulators and rating agencies. As a Assistant Analyst/Summer Trainee you’ll play a key role in in serving both external customers and internal customers such as other Group Treasury units, business areas and 2nd line of defence units.

What you’ll be doing

 

Main responsibilities in this role are monitoring, reporting and analysing the development of various liquidity and balance sheet metrics, as well as performing analysis of data.

Your background and skills include:

  • A minimum of two years of relevant studies, for example in Economics, Finance, Mathematics or a related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, with an interest in working with databases, SQL and AI-enabled tools to improve analysis and ways of working
  • Strong written and spoken English skills
  • Above all, curiousness, proactiveness and willingness to learn
