Would you like to work in the financial sector and learn about fund regulation as part of a Nordic team? We are now looking for a Legal Counsel to strengthen our Nordic Fund Law team.    

 

As a Legal Counsel, you’ll be member of the Fund Law team where you’ll get a unique opportunity to work in an inspiring Nordic environment. Our team supports Nordea Funds with a broad range of legal matters relating to fund management, including governance related matters. You will play an essential role by supporting in legal matters and governance around it ensuring that Nordea Funds Ltd has the license to operate and upscale funds.

About this opportunity

Welcome to the Fund law team. We add value by providing legal services to Nordea Funds Ltd and its branches across the Nordic. Your primary focus will be on variety of legal issues relating to fund management in both local and Nordic context. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support and drive regularly reoccurring assignments such as reporting 
  • Advise on regulatory matters relating to fund management
  • Furthermore, will play an important role in the follow-up and implementation of new regulations

 

The role is based either in Helsinki or in Stockholm.

Your experience and background: 

  • Master’s degree in law you are about to graduate.
  • Fluency in Finnish and/or Swedish and English 
  • Knowledge and experience working within the financial industry is an advantage
