We are looking for a Mainframe application specialist to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) organisation. This is an opportunity for you to be part of an international team, eager to support our mission to Protect the Bank: De-risked, Compliant, Secure & Protected.
About this opportunity
At IAM we provide centralised and standardised IAM services and act as a single point of contact for all units within Nordea acquiring these services. IAM belongs to the Cyber Security area within Nordea.
The Onboarding and Integrations team consists of dedicated IT Security Specialists, Product Owner and Scrum Master. We are not a development team. We analyse, support and onboard Nordea applications to the IAM controls, thus enabling Applications Owners to fulfil Compliance requirements put on them by the Bank and regulations.
What you will be doing:
- Be the driving force in the team when it comes to the onboarding of our IBM Mainframe and Resource Access Control Facility (RACF) applications to the Identity IQ system
- Together with Application Owners make a plan for and support the decommission of two homegrown mainframe applications
- Have close operational collaboration with our Mainframe supplier Kyndryl
- Work together with our Architects to designing future prof solutions for application onboarding
- Train and support junior colleagues
- Have close collaboration with the PO and SM in order to help them set realistic goals and support Projects and Audit request
The role is based in modern premises located centrally in Helsinki, Stockholm, Oslo or in the TriCity Area in Poland.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
- A strong driving force and good technical skills when it comes to IBM Mainframe
- Proven experience from working with IBM Mainframe applications and solutions
- Experience from working with Resource Access Control Facility (RACF)
- The ability to explain technical issues to both non-technical and technical people
- A structured and organised way of working with the ability to deliver results with high quality
- A proactive, constructive and can-do oriented mind-set
Your experience and background:
- IBM Mainframe and RACF knowledge
- Preferable experience working with IAM solutions and processes
- Understanding of IT processes and software development lifecycle
- Experience from working cross-borders with different cultures
- Previous experience working with Agile methodology and SAFe is a must
- Fluency in both written and spoken English is a must
- Experience from working with z-Secure (our RACF interface) is a plus
- Programming language Carla, JCL is a plus
