Welcome to Nordea Mortgage Bank (‘NMB’) where we add value to Nordea and customers by issuing euro denominated covered bonds backed by mortgage-assets and by developing cutting-edge mortgage products. As an integral part of Nordea's mortgage business in Finland, NMB plays a pivotal role in achieving our strategic targets and securing vital funding through covered bonds - an essential component of Nordea's long-term funding operations. As the Management Partner, you will make a significant contribution to NMB's management, ensuring that Nordea provides optimal mortgage offerings to our valued customers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborate with the Nordea team to safeguard our market position and achieve strategic objectives.
- Contribute to the development of our market-leading mortgage bank business within a high-performing team.
- Manage, support and advise on mortgage business management, offering forward-looking perspectives.
- Extract and analyze data in various forms, transforming them into insightful and actionable analysis.

- Possess strong analytical skills and a natural aptitude for numbers.
- Are able to quickly distil the essence from large sets of qualitative and quantitative data sets, and derive "so-what's".
- Display a proactive attitude towards learning and building expertise in core financial mechanisms, such as capital, liquidity, and funding.
- Thrive in dynamic environments with fast-paced deliveries, multiple stakeholders, and changing requirements.
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, enabling seamless navigation, communication, and collaboration across the value chain and throughout Nordea.
Your experience and background:
- A solid understanding and experience of banking landscape.
- Previous involvement in business development initiatives.
- Proficiency in Excel, data analysis and database management.
- Knowledge of SQL and Power BI is advantageous, though not mandatory.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Finnish and English (professional level).
- A strong academic background in economics, finance, or an equivalent field.
