Would you like to have a key role in Protecting the Bank by contributing to the development of our IAM solutions at Nordea? We are now looking for a Product Owner to our IAM Onboarding team to help drive our application onboarding agenda and together with the team develop automated process for the future.
About this opportunity
At Identity and access management (IAM) we provide centralised and standardised Identity and Access Management services and act as single point of contact for all units within Nordea acquiring these services. IAM belongs to the Cyber Security area within Nordea.
We are now looking for a Product Owner to join our IAM Onboarding team. The team consists of one Scrum Master and several Subject Matters Expert focusing on application onboarding to IAM controls, mainly in the IdentityIQ system.
What you will be doing
As a Product Owner you will be responsible for our Onboarding related deliveries. You will play an important role in collaborating with our stakeholders, supporting our IAM teams and driving the improvement work around our services.
You will:
- Have close dialog with Stakeholders (internal) to form a good understanding of the business needs within Nordea for this area.
- Together with IAM Architects, Management and other Product Owners prioritize and plan our deliveries.
- Set clear directions and prioritization for the team.
- Collaborate with the Scrum Master and the team to support them throughout sprints planning.
- Work with continues development and improvements of our services.
- Be the link between IAM and Stakeholders and support the team by clarifying and translating requirements.
- Act as a deputy for the Head of IAM Onboarding when needed.
The role is based in Stockholm, Sweden, Helsinki, Finland, Gdynia, Poland or Oslo, Norway.

You are used to working independently with high level of responsibility and are comfortable in decision making. You have experience from understanding and translating stakeholder needs and requirements and have great analytical skills where you can bring theory into practical usage. You have strong driving force and a structured way of working. An ability to utilize excellent communication skills on many organizational levels will be of great use. You also have strong facilitation and problem-solving skills.
Your experience and background:
- Experience in a Product Owner, Project Manager or a stakeholder management role.
- Experience in IT and preferably Identity Access Management disciplines.
- Previous experience working with Agile methodology.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English.
- Your educational background is master’s or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent.
