Are you our new Scrum Master?
We are looking for a Scrum Master to lead a team of dedicated IT Security specialists and developers in our Privileged Access Management (PAM) team within Identity and Access Management (IAM) organisation. This is an opportunity for you to be part of an international team, eager to support our mission to Protect the Bank: De-risked, Compliant, Secure & Protected.
About this opportunity
At IAM we provide centralised and standardised IAM services and act as single point of contact for all units within Nordea acquiring these services. IAM belongs to the Cyber Security area within Nordea.
As Scrum Master at PAM, you will play a valuable role in coordinating, developing and maintaining high quality PAM solutions. You will drive work together with the team and govern the ways of working in an agile setup. We are looking for a Scrum Master with good communication skills and knowledge of Scrum and Kanban.
What you will be doing:
- Plan and handle team meetings, Daily stand-ups, Sprint planning and Retrospectives. Being responsible for the scrum board and visualizes the team’s local metrics.
- Coach and lead the team in daily work. Working with continuous improvements together with the team.
- Handle risks and obstacles.
- Close collaboration with the PO in order to help the team deliver according to the prioritized backlog, get clear requirements and set definition of done.
- Ensure a good line of communication towards stakeholders, management and dependencies.
The role is based in modern premises located centrally in Helsinki.

Your experience and background:
- Several years of experience working as a scrum master within IT.
- Knowledge of both Scrum and Kanban.
- Good understanding of IT processes and software development lifecycle.
- Documented ability to work and lead cross-border with different cultures.
- Previous experience working with Agile methodology and SAFe is a must.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English is a must.
- Experience from working with Jira, Sharepoint and Confluence.
- General understanding of IAM and PAM technologies and practices.
- A background from IT security and the Identity and Access Management area is a plus.
