We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Risk Manager to further strengthen our risk management function in Transaction Banking. This is full time and permanent position.

  

About our team   
  

Meet the Transaction Banking Business Risk Management (TxB BRM) team. Our role is to support TxB business units (Cash Management, Cards and Trade Solutions) in identifying, assessing, mitigating, monitoring and reporting relevant risks enabling risk based decisions and safeguarding business against unexpected losses and protecting Nordea’s reputation.


Our team plays an integral role in providing the expertise necessary for Transaction Banking to manage its non-financial risks. We are a currently a team of 15 located in the 3 Nordic countries (Denmark, Sweden and Finland). Head of the TxB BRM teams reports to Head of Transaction Banking.

What you’ll be doing  
  

Main responsibilities in this role

  • Proactively advise, train and support leaders and employees in non-financial risk management, controls and risk reporting ​
  • Manage/support risk and control processes such as Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Incident Reporting, Issue Management, Change Risk Management and Approval (CRMA), Product Approval, Business Continuity Management, etc.
  • Support the enhancement of the risk, control and compliance culture
  • Participate in or lead projects, task forces and working groups within non-financial risk area.
  • Support and/or drive work related to closing gaps identified by Group Internal Audit (GIA) and Second Line of Defense (2LoD) with/or on behalf of management in TxB

Your background and skills include:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in non-financial risk management, control function, audit or compliance
  • Knowledge of fundamental risk management frameworks and processes
  • Experience in working with internal rules and regulations, project management, application management are meriting
  • Master´s or Bachelor´s degree 
  • English spoken (Professional level) and English written (Professional level).          

 

It would be ideal if you also:

  • Have Knowledge and experience from working within Cash Management and Payments
  • Have knowledge and experience in financial crime risk managemen
