Senior Collection Officer, Nordea Finance

 

We are looking for a Senior Debt Collection Officer with a strong collection background to work with debt collection, everything within customer reminders, reconstructions and bankruptcy in collaboration with your colleagues and our partners, including notifications, repatriation of equipment, realization of collateral.

Meet the Finnish Collection team. Our role is to add value by helping needy customers who have fallen into financial difficulties. Our team consists of competent collection employees with a strong focus on customers, recovery and minimization of loan losses. Our team is consisting of the competent debt collection employees, where the pace and mood are high.

What you’ll be doing

 

Main responsibilities in this role: 

  • Notifications of restructurings and bankruptcies
  • Basic collection related tasks, (both collateral and non-collateral)
  • Insolvencies 
  • Realisation of asset
  • Participate in settlements

 

Who you are

 

This is the right role for you if you have 3-5 years of strong debt background with Business and Private Debt Collection as your specialty and are good at prioritizing your time and efforts. You are structured, service-minded and adaptable and know how to drive change. We look forward to having you on board, who with good collaboration skills and a good mood, engages you in the collegial community and contributes to our good working environment.

 

Your background and skills include: 

  • You come with experience from a similar job from another debt collection company, leasing company or bank
  • You are used to negotiation and have good negotiation skills by phone
  • Have knowledge of debt collection legislation
  • Have knowledge of termination of contracts / Leasing
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)

 

It would be ideal if you also:

  • Have knowledge of the processing of death estate cases
  • Have extensive knowledge of the valuation and sale of equipment
