About this opportunity

Welcome to the Collection team in Nordea Finance. We add value by handling collection matters in all phases of the collection process according to Nordea Finance strategy.

As the Senior Collection Officer or Specialist, you’ll perform demanding processing work but also influence our future by improving the processes and ways of working. This opportunity can be tailormade for you since whether you have skills in process management, handling challenging customer needs, outsourcing or legal collection matters, they all can be an advantage. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Perform challenging collection processes of Nordea Finance products (leasing, hire purchase and consumer lending)
• Create excellent customer satisfaction by finding suitable solutions to our customers in collection 
• Investigate and share information about  legislation related to collection
• Involve proactively yourself in collection and pre-collection tasks by taking part in continuous improvements of the processes and systems in use
• Train colleagues when applicable

You’ll join a team of high professionalism. The role is based in Vallila, Helsinki but you also have a possibility to work partly remotely.

• Have analytical skills for finding patterns and solving logical issues
• Are interested in performing operative work with pre-collection and collection processes
• Speak and read Finnish and English fluently. Swedish language skill is considered as an advantage

Your experience and background:

• You are experienced in consumer lending, leasing and hire purchase products
• You feel comfortable with co-operating with senior management and different stakeholders
• You are experienced in senior / specialist level work 
• You have knowledge of collection legislation and practical collection
