We are looking for a senior full stack developer to join our Authentication Management team within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) organisation at Nordea. About our team
Authentication Management is a team under IAM belonging to the Cyber Security area within Nordea. We provide centralised IAM solutions and standardised IAM services towards Nordea’s workforce and systems. Our ambition is to strengthen the security of the bank and act as single point of contact for all units, acquiring these solutions and services. You will join a newly created team that will take the responsibility for our end to end solution that authenticates our users, including multifactor authentication, password self-service and password less functionality. You will be responsible both for the user experience, and for the back end integrations towards other bank systems. You will be expected to develop new features and to contribute to overall stability and maturity of our solution.
Main responsibilities in this role:
- Maturing our authentication services by designing and developing new features in alignment with IAM compliance requirements and security guidelines to support changing business needs
- Working with continuous improvement of already existing code and bug fixes
- Taking part in quality assurance, security testing, maintenance activities
- Acting as an technical expert and role model following software good practices and guidelines
- Working closely with your colleges and share knowledge with others

- Are a senior/expert full stack developer with operations skills, with focus on end2end solutions
- Have excellent troubleshooting skills
- Are structured and organised way of working with the ability to deliver results with high quality
- Has strong technical competence and documentation skills
- Can contribute to continuous improvement in terms of efficiency, reducing risk and applying automation
- Can work close with others to plan, design, develop, test and maintain our end to end solution
- Have experience in working in multicultural environments in large organizations having DevOps team
- Are fluent in English (spoken and written is a must)
Your background and skills include:
- Experience designing and implementing database structures using SQL Server and Oracle improving data integrity
- Optimized query performance through indexing and normalization techniques
- Experience in development of REST API's using Java Spring Boot microservices
- Experience in Lombok/Micrometer/JUnit/Mockito/Maven/Prometheus for the backend part
- Experience integrating strong authentication methods in a UI
- Used to a Developer role in a large organization having DevOps team
- Experience in Powershell and WebView
- Experience in Developer tools IntelliJ/Eclipse, VSCode, Gi
- Experience in C#
It would be ideal if you also had:
- Hands-on experience in Nordea System Engineering Platform (Kubernetes)
- Experience in Angular/NodeJS/JavaScript/HTML/CSS skills is beneficial
- Experience in Linux server operational
The role is based in modern premises located centrally in Helsinki or in the TriCity area in Poland. Please, note the candidate should be located in the country of hire already.
