About our team
Meet the Billing & Charging team. Our role is to support data management and reporting needs around the process of charging corporate clients for various products / services. The team operates in a matrix organization with analysts, developers, product owner and project manager spread across Nordics, Poland and India all working together on the same goals / deliveries. The team is part of Data and Reporting service domain under Payments and Financial Transactions Technology service area.
We are looking for an experienced IT/Business analyst, who will help us document and better understand current legacy applications, its dependencies and data sourcing and work towards defining a unified design of new common platform for billing & charging.
What you’ll be doing:
- Cooperate with product owners and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional specifications for developers
- Collaborate with developers to ensure proper implementation of proposed design
- Understand and document complex systems with multiple upstream and downstream dependencies in multiple technologies
- Participate in designing future to-be state of the unified billing & charging solution for Nordics
- Be involved in data mapping and modelling, cooperate with data architects on master data management

Your experience and background:
- 3+ years of experience working as IT / Business Analyst on projects with multi-system and multi-dependencies environments
- Exposure to main relational data storage (at least one of Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, Snowflake, PostgreSQL etc.) / data transfer (FTP, HTTP, TCP/IP etc.) / REST API technologies
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Experience in working with agile methodlogy with tools like Confluence, Jira or similar
- Confident written and spoken English, working in international environment (including remotely) with different stakeholder groups
- At least B2+/C1 in Finnish language (parts of the applications’ documentation is written in Finnish)
It would be ideal if you also:
- Experience with master data management and data modelling principles
- Experience with change management (for work on building new platform)
- Experience with billing & charging processes
