About our team
Meet the Payments Information Provisioning (PIP) team. Our role is to aggregate payments data of different origin (cross-border and internal, inbound and outbound, classic and instant etc.) and populate respective data sources with it, so it can be consumed by both internal systems and external customers (e.g. for reporting, payments search etc.)
The team operates in a matrix organization with analysts, developers, product owner and project manager spread across Nordics, Poland and India all working together on the same goals / deliveries. The team is part of Data and Reporting service domain under Payments and Financial Transactions Technology service area.
We are looking for an experienced IT/Business analyst with strong technical background, who will help us document and better understand current applications landscape, its dependencies and data sourcing and work towards improving and unifying its design to meet both customer and regulatory expectations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Cooperate with product owners and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional specifications for developers
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and other technical staff to ensure that business requirements are clearly understood and properly implemented
- Analyse current business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Understand and document complex systems with multiple upstream and downstream dependencies in multiple technologies
- Be involved in data mapping and modelling, cooperate with data architects on master data management

Your experience and background:
- 5+ years experience as IT / Business Analyst (at least 2 in financial or banking sector or 3+ years on the same position in financial or banking sector
- Understanding different payment flows, SWIFT, ISO 20022, XML
- Working on projects with multi-system and multi-dependencies environments
- Background in applications built on event-driven architecture (ideally with Apache Kafka)
- Exposure to main relational data storage (at least one of Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, Snowflake, PostgreSQL etc.) / data transfer (FTP, HTTP, TCP/IP etc.) / REST API technologies
- Hands-on experience with SQL
- Experience in working with agile methodlogy with tools like Confluence, Jira or similar
- Confident written and spoken English, working in international environment (including remotely) with different stakeholder groups
It would be ideal if you also have basic knowledge of any programming / scripting language (Python, Java, JavaScript, bash etc.)
