We are looking for a Senior IT Security Specialist to the Access Management team to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) organisation. About this opportunity

 

Access Management is functionality under IAM belonging to the Cyber Security area within Nordea. We provide centralised IAM solutions and standardised IAM services towards Nordea’s workforce and systems. Our ambition is to strengthen the security of the bank and act as single point of contact for all units, acquiring these solutions and services. This is an opportunity for you to be part of an international team, eager to support our mission to secure the Bank, by making it: De-risked, Compliant, Secure & Protected. You will join a team of Developers and SMEs focusing on planning and developing Nordea’s Access Management capabilities.

 

You will be the functional lead for development and will play a key role in developing and maturing our business critical Authentication & Authorization system, supporting Single Sign On, MFA, Identity Federation, Authorization and Access Management. 

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Design and develop our authentication and authorization service in alignment with IAM compliance requirements and security guidelines to support changing business needs
  • Lead the development work and collaborate closely with your colleges and share knowledge with others
  • Contribute with technical expertise to secure 24x7 uptime
  • Take part in managing and improving application management to contribute to risk reduction and compliance for Nordea
  • Act as an technical expert and role model

 

The role is based in modern premises located centrally in Helsinki, Finland or in Gdansk,Poland, with the possibility to work partly from home. Please, note the candidate should be located in the country of hire already.

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)


Your experience and background:

  • Several years of proven experience working with access management solution(s) including: Single Sign-On, Multi Factor Authentication, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2, SAML.
  • It is a benefit if you have knowledge about: Reverse Proxy Server, LDAP, Kerberos and RADIUS.
  • Coding language: Java/Spring Boot and Java script, knowledge of Python and/or VBA is a plus
  • Knowledge of identity security best practices, for both on-premise and cloud environments
  • Knowledge of fundamental security approaches and principles (such as SoD, Least Privilege, Zero Trust)
  • Previous experience working in a DevOps team in Agile/Scrum setup
  • Understanding of IT processes and system development life cycle
  • Security certifications are a plus
