Payments & Cash Management Hub is developing and making improvements in the payments area based on Nordea’s target payment architecture. For our customers and internal stakeholders, we are enabling new quality payments products and services according to Nordea objectives in a continuously changing environment.
 
We add value by contributing to Corporate Access Payables project which is delivering file-based payment system for business and corporate customers which is meant to replace former systems. It communicates with legacy payment systems in order to process the payments. System uses one format (XML) of a file received from customers in all countries. Functionality is now available in 4 Nordic countries, and we continue with further development of the system to have all payment types in place. We are also working on adding new functionalities and integrate with Nordea Business to enable regular and medium sized companies to use the solution. 


As the IT Developer (Corporate Access Payables) you will play a valuable role in leading development and build features for payment system for business and corporate customer.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing and implementing Corporate Access Payable services
  • Playing a valuable role in the development team by using and sharing your skills and experience to build and support IT solutions for Nordea’s customers
  • Cooperating with internal and external teams and partners

 

The role is based in Gdynia, Gdańsk, Warsaw or Helsinki. Occasionally you might have business trips to meet up with other team members.

Your experience and background:  

  • At least 5 years of experience of Java software development
  • Knowledge and hands on experience of Spring framework, Maven, WebLogic and GIT
  • Very useful to have knowledge about Junit testing and Mockito
  • Nice to have skills and knowledge at least some of the following: Coherence, Splunk, Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo, AppDynamics, Semmle, HSQLDB, Jetty, MQ, ActiveMQ, Angular, REST Services, SonarQube, Kafka, Kubernetes, DB2 and XML
  • Good English skills
  • Good communications skills and proactive attitude
