Senior Sales Manager, Finland
Would you like to be part of a highly motivated sales team in Finland with focus on the largest investors in Finland. We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager to our Finland office. We’re seeking a senior sales person with long term relationships with Tier 1 investors and experience in Asset Management. The role demands you to have an analytical mindset and the ability to support, advise, motivate, execute and learn from results-oriented sales organisation. You need to have a high team spirit and also willingness to travel.
Nordea Asset Management (NAM) is the centre of investment management in the Nordea Group and in the Asset & Wealth Management division. NAM is the largest asset manager in the Nordics with the vision of being a leading European Asset Manager. We want to do this by delivering returns with responsibility. We meet customer demands and guide our customers in the right direction in asset selection while ensuring prudent ESG practices. NAM has around 900 employees and more than 475 Nordic and international institutional clients.
About this opportunity
You’ll join the Finland sales team, a team of 3,5 professionals committed to Institutional and Wholesale distribution across the Finland market. As a senior sales manager, you’ll play a valuable role in representing NAM’s values and investments’ solutions to both existing and new clients. The role is based in Helsinki, Finland.
What you’ll be doing:
- Represent our company when meeting prospects, clients as well as developing relationships by understanding client needs
- Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our offerings and solutions
- Achieve company goals through effective planning, setting sales goals, examining performance data, markets’ opportunities and projecting future performance
- Continuously develop and learn effective sales tactics to meet revenue goals
- Generate leads, and build and develop client relationships
- Analyse markets’ reports to increase understanding of business and identify sales trends
- Making your part on growing the business with high goals

To do well in this role, we believe that you need:
- Solid communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Long experience with large investors and Asset Management
- Effective collaboration, ability to work independently and stakeholder management
- Genuine willingness and interest to learn and adapt
- Good spoken and written Finnish, English and Swedish skills
- Ability to travel
Your experience and background:
- 10 years of experience within institutional or wholesale distribution or equivalent
- At least 5 years in Asset Management
- A masters degree within the financial sector or equivalent
