About this opportunity

Welcome to the Social Media & Creative team. We are Nordea’s in-house agency. We add value by creating and nurturing content and campaigns to increase engagement in owned and paid media. As Social Media Manager you’ll play a valuable role in running the activities in Finland.

What you’ll be doing:


  • Have overall responsibility for content and channels used by Nordea in Finland, taking into consideration reputational risk & current perception of Nordea
  • Publish and optimise content across channels
  • Monitor and analyse outcomes in social media
  • Train employees in Finland on the value & use of social media increasing Nordea brand advocacy
  • Train and support to social media team in Customer Service, the frontline of social interaction with the customers
  • Consult on how channels can add more value; review to ensure compliance with standards and oversee and govern the user experience

You’ll join Group Content & Channels within Group Brand, Communications & Marketing. The role is based in Helsinki.

  • Are able to handle multiple projects at the same time in a complex matrix organization
  • Are proactive, robust with a strong personal drive and energy, always on top of things and aware of developments and upcoming challenges  

Your experience and background: 


  • 5+ years of experience with social media, paid media & digital marcom from a large, international corporation
  • Graphic design and/or simple video production/editing is a plus
  • Fluent in Finnish and English (professinal level)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
