About our team
We are the Customer Engagement Service Domain within Nordea’s Corporate Service Area in Group Technology. Our mission is to deliver best in class omnichannel corporate customer experience through sustainable solutions, 360-degree customer insights and secure technology solutions. We build and operate several key customer engagement applications, such as customer onboarding, engagement reporting, CRM and BI solutions. You will join us at an exciting time where we are modernizing our technology landscape, strengthening our data foundation and accelerating adoption of AI.
This role is based in Finland and Poland.
What you’ll be doing
As the Solution Architect in service domain, you will work across multiple teams and applications. You will play a key part in shaping solution architecture and data architecture and serve as a vital link between architecture governance and delivery teams. You will help design solutions that can support varying operating models across segments, while ensuring regulatory compliance and architectural consistency.
Your responsibilities include:
- Design and maintain data architecture and solution architecture across technologies and applications
- Collaborate and align with domain architects, tech lead, data engineer, developers to ensure adherence to target architecture and engineering best practices
- Drive architectural documentation and support the approval and governance process
- Define data architecture patterns for sourcing, transformation, storage and consumption
- Collaborate with multiple engineering and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Provide architectural guidance and best practices to delivery teams
Who you are

Your background and skills include:
- Preferably 7+ experience as Solution Architect, Data Architect or Tech lead across multiple technologies
- Ability to understand business terms, requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable solution designs by adhering to Nordea Group Architecture principles, target technology stacks
- Proven ability to produce clear architectural documentation
- Hands-on experience with Datawarehouse, Snowflake, DBT, Airflow and BI platforms such as PowerBI, Qlikview or similar
- Programming experience in language as Java, Python is a plus
- AI architect experience is a plus
