About our team

 

Authentication Management is a team under IAM belonging to the Cyber Security area within Nordea. We provide centralised IAM solutions and standardised IAM services towards Nordea’s workforce and systems. Our ambition is to strengthen the security of the bank and act as single point of contact for all units, acquiring these solutions and services. You will join a newly created team that focusing on planning and developing Nordea’s Authentication Management capabilities.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

Main responsibilities in this role:

  • Take ownership of our end to end solution. Define and set the vision and roadmap of our products
  • Support Entra ID project deliveries
  • Proactively drive improvements in alignment with architects and other areas of expertise, to support changing business needs
  • Secure that  legal and regulatory compliance requirement are adhered to
  • Act as technical expert in your area of expertise
  • Work closely with product and applications owners and share knowledge with others, act as a role model

 

Who you are

 

This is the right role for you if you:

  • Have a key interest in Cyber Security and supporting technologies
  • Have worked several years with authentication solutions and processes, with focus on end2end solutions
  • Are proactive, constructive and a can-do oriented mind-set and a strong driving force
  • Have a structured and organised way of working with the ability to deliver results with high quality
  • Have a solid technical understanding and background with enterprise and environments preferably financial institutions
  • Have a solid technical insights into modern and best practices methods for authentication and authorization
  • Are able to take technical discussions and clarifications on a conceptual level
  • Have the ability to explain technical context to both business and technical audience
  • Have a thorough understanding of business strategy, goals and priorities
  • Are experienced in summarizing, drawing conclusions, documenting and presenting
  • Have experience in working in multicultural environments in large organizations having DevOps team
  • Are fluent in English (spoken and written is a must)

 

Your background and skills include:

  • You have worked as Solution/Product owner, Technical Product Manager or held similar positions
  • Several years of proven experience working with Entra ID and Microsoft Windows Hello for Business in large enterprise organizations
  • You have knowledge about authentication methods and protocols, SSO, OIDC, SAML, Kerberos etc.
  • Knowledge of identity security best practices, for both on-premise and cloud environments
  • Knowledge of fundamental security approaches and principles (such as Zero Trust and Least Privilege)
  • Understanding of IT processes and system development life cycle

 

It would be ideal if you also had:

  • Security certifications
  • Entra ID Fundamentals certifications

 

The role is based in modern premises located centrally in Helsinki or in the TriCity area in Poland. Please, note the candidate should be located in the country of hire already.
