About this opportunity
 

We are looking for a candidate to join the Business and Transaction Banking Architecture team who is a problem solver and has extensive experience with collaborating and engaging with IT and business stakeholders, proactively driving the creation of IT architecture for Trade finance in alignment with Nordea’s business and IT strategies, governing domain architectures, participating in large transformation initiatives following a Scaled Agile (SAFe) delivery framework.

The candidate must have a proven track record in managing a diverse group of business and technical stakeholders and effectively performing the role of a trusted advisor with hands-on, fit-for-purpose solution architectures. Working knowledge of digital platforms and customer engagement channels, microservices , open banking, API management and trade finance are required.

You will work with internal customers to build pragmatic solutions that describe impacts on processes, information and technology assets. You lead development for trade finance initiatives and lead team(s) across multiple releases, securing integration of the various solutions and overall technical governance.

What you will be doing:

• Be accountable for developing solution and transition architectures that provide explicit guidance and steering for initiatives within Trade finance
• Provide solution design and architectural leadership that includes creation of content related to business, information, application, process and technology architecture viewpoints
• Analyse stakeholder requirements, current state architecture, and gaps to solution designs that support initiatives
• Deliver according to quality-, Nordea standards and timeliness to effectively execute agreed objectives
• Drive the maintenance of the As-is overview of the application and infrastructure IT landscape within own area to lower risk in future development
• Work with enterprise architects to proactively guide, implement and govern architectural principles, best practices and common change initiatives in own area to secure high quality in IT solutions
• Ensure that solutions are aligned to technology standards and architecture roadmap – while staying within risk appetite and complying with regulations

The role will be based in Finland or Poland.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 8+ years of related work experience in the areas of corporate banking, digital and customer engagement channels, microservices, workflow and case management, business intelligence, automation and APIs
• 5+ years’ experience with leading and governing architecture and solution designs for an initiative and/or large transformation projects, delivering solution designs (business, technology and information) in a client-facing, consulting and/or delivery role in large transformation projects
• 5+ years demonstrated experience in areas of trade finance back end, digital channels, customer engagement channels, business intelligence, automation and APIs in banking or financial services industries, including supporting the project planning and execution
• Demonstrated ability to drive development of solution and transition architectures and to craft fit-for-purpose architecture content that provides explicit guidance for large and complex transformation initiatives
• Demonstrated experience with integration technologies, methods and architecture patterns to support batch, real-time and near-real-time data integration to support operational lending, analytical and reporting use cases
• Proficient with business analysis, software engineering, integration and orchestration, technical solution design, and risk and quality management
