We are looking for a web specialist with a proven website management track record and stakeholder communication skills who can help us take Nordea Intranet to the next level. This is an opportunity for you to join a web team of highly engaged, self-driven web specialists and play a valuable role in developing the intranet as the main entry point to news, information and applications needed for the daily work.
 

About this opportunity


You will join a well-established Nordic team, working agile and online with both local and group level tasks. The role is based in Helsinki, Finland and you will be working cross-border together with team members in both Helsinki and Copenhagen. The team leader is based in Stockholm.


The Intranet team is a part of the Group Marketing and Channels unit in Group Brand, Communication and Marketing (GBCM). In GBCM, we are all driven by a high ambition to deliver the best brand, communication and marketing experiences to make people passionate about Nordea. 


What you’ll be doing


You will be working with the intranet performing tasks on both local and group level:

  • Taking our visitor research to the next level, ensuring high-quality data and an insights driven approach when prioritising tasks and advising stakeholders.
  • Developing our SEO strategy as well as improving site search.
  • Working with information structure, guiding our editors on how and where to publish content as well as guiding users on how to use the intranet in the best possible way.
  • Planning and facilitating online webinars for both users and editors, creating instructions and video guides.
  • Collaborating with team members, IT developers and other stakeholders to develop and improve the intranet, which involves validating and creating requirements and user journeys, planning, facilitating and participating in various types of tests, such as user tests, interviews, regression tests including follow-up and creation of necessary documentation.
  • Working with feedback from editors and users in various channels, e.g. email, Yammer, surveys etc.
  • Ensuring a consistent user experience by providing UX expertise to both team and editors.

Your experience and background:

  • Expertise in web analytics, visitor research and reporting.
  • Expertise in SEO and web accessibility.
  • Web design skills with focus on UX and web accessibility is considered an advantage in this role.
  • Experience from working with content management systems, preferably Liferay and Elasticsearch.
  • Skilled in digital communication and information architecture. 
  • Experience from working with web editor support, training and creation of online training material.
  • Experience from working in a large organisation with many stakeholders.
  • Skilled in project and stakeholder management.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills in Finnish as well as in English are prerequisites.
  • Bachelor´s or Master’s degree in relevant fields. Equivalent years of working experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
