About this opportunity


Welcome to the Workplace Solutions team in Nordea Workplace Management Finland. Our primary responsibility is to provide Nordea colleagues with attractive and fit for purpose working environments at Nordea headquarter campus in Vallila and branch offices around Finland. We drive workplace projects to continuously develop our portfolio, in close collaboration with business stakeholders. 


We would like to strengthen our team with a Workplace Partner, who will be given responsibility to develop and drive projects connected to our headquarter in Helsinki. The workplace is evolving and you will have a unique opportunity to influence and develop the workplace of tomorrow for all Nordea employees on a strategic, tactical, and operational level. We are also in a middle of an inspiring building project, which will change the dynamics of the whole headquarter campus. 


Workplace Management Finland has the ownership of all of Nordea’s locations and related services throughout Finland. You will be part of an experienced team responsible for lease portfolio planning, building projects, internal and external stakeholder management, lease negotiations, moving and relocations, space optimisation, physical security and meeting room/AV equipment. 


What you’ll be doing:

  • Engaging in close dialogue with business areas to understand their needs, way of working, and translate this into proposals and concrete actions, in collaboration with our partners and suppliers
  • Manage the overall project portfolio of the headquarter with your colleague 
  • Create project & design proposals and drive both operational and strategic initiatives
  • Preparing high-level analysis and decision materials
  • Steering and ensuring project deliveries as well as engaging third parties to execute projects 
  • Ensure a great end-user experience by acting as a liaison between business units, workplace management, and our internal and external partners with a strong focus on clarifying and improving processes connected to these stakeholders

 

The role is based at Nordea headquarter in Helsinki.

  • Make it happen attitude – You must always be ready to take decisions, have competence & skills to act as a good advisor and change maker internally, and do what is needed to get things moving
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, in both Finnish and English


Your experience and background:  

  • Solid experience in real estate, e.g. workplace design, workplace solutions, change management, project management, portfolio management, construction
  • Suitable higher education degree (Master’s or Bachelor’s)
  • Good project management skills
