AI Enablement Specialist to Products team in Nordea Asset Management

Købanhavn K, DK, 1402

Job ID: 5404

Are you passionate about digital innovation and ready to shape how AI transforms the way we work? We are looking for an AI Enablement Specialist to join our Products team in Copenhagen — a unique role sitting at the intersection of product expertise and technological transformation.

Nordea Asset Management (NAM) is the centre of investment management in the Nordea Group and in the Asset & Wealth Management division. NAM is the largest asset manager in the Nordics with the vision of being a leading European Asset Manager. We want to do this by delivering returns with responsibility. We meet customer demands and guide our customers in the right direction in asset selection while ensuring prudent ESG practices. NAM has around 900 employees and more than 475 Nordic and international institutional clients.

About this opportunity

Welcome to the Products team. With 30 professionals across the Nordic countries and Luxembourg, we add value by managing NAM's range of investment funds in close collaboration with the entire value chain from the investment boutiques, over the operational functions and towards multiple distribution channels. Profound product skills and deep understanding of distribution and client needs, coupled with intent and networking abilities, are key to our success.
As AI Enablement Specialist, you will play a valuable role in the ongoing enhancement of processes across the Product value chain and the integration of AI powered solutions in a structured, responsible and impactful way. This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of product knowledge and digital innovation – driving real change in how we work, while contributing to NAM's broader digital transformation agenda.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Identifying and driving AI use cases in co-operation with value chain specialists, translating business challenges and inefficiencies into concrete opportunities for AI-powered improvement
  • Acting as the key bridge between Products and the technology value stream, ensuring that priorities, requirements and context are effectively communicated to developers
  • Developing and deploying smaller-scale AI support solutions independently or in close collaboration with colleagues, enabling faster iteration and immediate value creation within the team
  • Driving process improvement initiatives by analysing workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and designing more efficient AI-augmented alternatives
  • Building AI capability across the team by coaching and upskilling colleagues on relevant tools, methods and best practices
  • Ensuring responsible AI adoption by applying relevant governance frameworks, data security principles and compliance considerations to all AI initiatives within the product function
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to stay current on emerging AI tools, regulatory developments and industry practices

You will join a motivated and experienced team who will support you in developing in your new role. The role is based in Copenhagen.

Who you are

Collaboration. Ownership. Passion. Courage. These are the values that guide us in being at our best – and that we imagine you share with us.

To do well in this role, we believe that you:

  • Thrive in the space between business and technology, translating between the two with confidence and clarity
  • Navigate confidently in cross-functional environments across geographically distributed teams
  • Deliver high-quality output in an evolving work setting
  • Demonstrate effective teamwork to transform ideas into practical solutions
  • Possess effective communication skills

Your experience and background:

  • Relevant experience working with business analysis, AI tools, automation or digital process improvement – ideally within financial services or a similar regulated or data-intensive industry
  • A relevant degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools and prompt engineering, including the ability to build or configure lightweight solutions without full developer support
  • Solid understanding of AI governance, data privacy and security considerations relevant to the use of AI in a regulated environment
  • Good business understanding, with the ability to connect technological possibilities to real product and operational needs
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of asset management products and operations is an advantage
