Would you like to get in on the ground floor of building a new data platform? We are now looking for a Data Engineer to accelerate our shift towards a Snowflake-based data platform.
Nordea Asset Management (NAM) is the centre of investment management in the Nordea Group and in the Asset & Wealth Management division. About our team
Welcome to the Investments Engineering team. Our mission is to automate and implement trading execution and analytics.
You'll be joining a team of 16, split across two end-to-end delivery teams within the Investments and Trading Domains. We are a strongly multi-national team, with 11 nationalities and deep domain experience.
What you’ll be doing
As our newest Data Engineer, you’ll play a valuable role in building vital data pipelines and tooling to support our quantitative analysts.
Main responsibilities in this role:
- Developing on the NAM Data Platform, adding new data sources and transformations in response to new business requirements
- Continually improving the platform, adopting new technologies and patterns as they become available
- Building internal tooling to support NAM's migration into the NAM data platform
- Continuing migration of the existing platform into our Lakehouse architecture
The role is based in Copenhagen.

Your background and skills include:
- Experience working with Python in a data engineering capacity
- Experience with SQL
It would be ideal if you also:
- Building and deploying containerised applications on Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Snowflake
- Familiarity with DBT
- Building DAGs with Apache Airflow
- AWS or other public cloud experience
- Infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Terraform
- Experience working in end-to-end delivery teams
