About this opportunity
Welcome to the MarTech unit at Nordea. We build the bank of tomorrow by enabling technology and tools to drive digital sales and servicing across different business areas and our four markets. Our unit covers operations from data enablement all the way to front-end development with the ambition to provide our customers with personalized sales and servicing. We are on a mission to enable relationship-at-scale banking towards 2030.
The role will have the following key responsibilities:
Be a unit lead for MarTech Platforms & Customer Profile with the focus of leading the MarTech platform development and connected data enablement. Together with your unit you will:
- Lead the development of Nordea’s digital MarTech platforms (Adobe Experience Platform, Qualtrics) by configuring and optimizing platform components
- Lead the data enablement & customer profile enrichment within the platforms
- Build Scalable Data Integration Architecture by designing and implementing data flows between on-premise systems and cloud platforms and by establishing real-time and batch synchronization processes
- Implement Robust Identity Resolution Framework
- Develop and maintain identity resolution processes for both customers and prospects. Create progressive profiling capabilities to enrich prospect data over time
- Develop API and Services Framework
- Create a comprehensive API strategy for profile access and management and develop services for real-time identity resolution
- Lead the implementation of Next-best-action -technology (RTIM) as an addition to the current MarTech stack
- Manage implementations of our Analytics tracking together with business, and developers. On both Web sites, SPA, and Mobile apps using a Tag management system
- Ensure consistency and continuous development of data collection frameworks
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, ePrivacy) and management of the Group’s cookie consent platform and its implementation
Drive the transformation to enable relationship banking at scale. Together with your colleagues within MarTech unit you will:
- Drive the implementation of technology roadmap to enable personalized engagements across all digital channels connecting digital to human assisted advisory and back
- Plan and drive the organizational and operating model transformation needed when transitioning from traditional marketer led to customer led sales and servicing operations (shift to “audience of one”)
- Collaborate and support Nordea’s business units with the above mentioned transformation
The role is based in Copenhagen; Helsinki; Oslo; Stockholm; Warszawa.

- Are able to lead a transformation within an organisation
Your experience and background:
- You consider yourself an expert within the Marketing Technology space
- You have a good understanding and previous experience in the implementation of MarTech platforms at enterprise level
- You have a good understanding and previous experience in data enablement needed to run MarTech platforms
- Ideally you have experience in the development of machine learning models, enabling and managing AI-powered features and implementing next-best-action/real-time-interaction-management capability in a large organisation
- You are known as a senior transformational leader with the mindset of growing people and have experience in building/transforming organizations
- You have a degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science or similar. Equivalent years of experience will be considered lieu of a degree
- You are fluent in English and ideally one other Nordic language

Experience with these or similar tools is a requirement. Experience with Next-Best-Action technology (e.g. from following vendors or similar: SAS, Braze, Pega, Adobe, Salesforce or Microsoft) is considered a strong plus.
Given the nature of the role, some travel must be expected to the Nordic countries.
