Would you like to become a part of Nordea Asset Management’s engineering team and support to pave the way for our client reporting function? We are looking for an IT Developer with the ability to drive client reporting solutions and also becoming a bridge between business and IT.
Nordea Asset Management (NAM) is the center of investment management in the Nordea Group and in the Asset & Wealth Management division. NAM is the largest asset manager in the Nordics with the vision of being a leading European Asset Manager. We want to do this by delivering returns with responsibility. What you'll be doing
As a new addition to EoD value stream, you will primarily focus on delivering solutions towards client reporting as one of our important stakeholders. Client reporting solutions are implemented using a vendor system called ePages which operates on top of our DwH. DwH is where all required data is collected, cleaned and modelled for the client reporting. In this role, there is a direct communication and collaboration with business functional specialists and it is required to put together the business requirements with the reporting workflow setup.
We expect our IT Developer profile to have a good understanding of the modern technological space and also ability to translate business needs.
NAM is undergoing a technological transition, which might in future change the technologies we use to solve business problems. Therefore in this case, it is beneficial to have a basic understanding of reporting capabilities and data capabilities of future. As of now we work with SQL server database, in house built tools in C# .net and ePages(SS&C) as our primary technologies around client reporting. We are also adapting technologies like dbt, python and snowflake in our client reporting space.
Main responsibilities in this role:
- Understanding and collecting client reporting requirements.
- Building the required client reporting templates in ePages system (SSnC vendor).
- Understand the overall architecture of the client reporting system and installation (Windows servers, SQL server database, IIS).
- Contributing the daily development of client report elements using SQL and dbt.
- Contributing to the data pipelines(built in SSIS and Snowflake) used for data collection for client reporting.
- Error debugging and incident management on client reporting solutions.

Your background and skills include:
- Hands on experience in SQL. Familiarity with dbt is a bonus.
- Familiarity with data warehouse and data lakehouse concepts.
- Basic knowledge level of C# .Net.
- Fundamental understanding of reporting solutions and workflows.
- Is a bonus if you have a basic understanding of cloud architecture.
- Is a bonus if you have a working knowledge of deployment pipelines.
- Fluency in English.
