Nordea Asset Management (NAM) is the centre of investment management in the Nordea Group and in the Asset & Wealth Management division. NAM is the largest asset manager in the Nordics with the vision of being a leading European Asset Manager. We want to do this by delivering returns with responsibility. We meet customer demands and guide our customers in the right direction in asset selection while ensuring prudent ESG practices. Welcome to the Market Data Contracts team where our goal is to acquire essential data for the organization and making sure our internal users have access to the market data they need. We add value by managing all contracts, maintaining compliance and cost-efficiency.

What you’ll be doing

 

As Market Data Specialist, you will be working with a variety of responsibilities ranging from building and sustaining relationships with our external vendors to administering contracts and handling various administrative tasks. Please note that our team does not analyze nor work with the market / ESG data itself.

 

Main responsibilities in this role:

  • Handle the day to day administration and internal stakeholder requests
  • Interact with external providers, negotiating and maintaining strong partnerships
  • Scout the market to identify potential alternatives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address their data needs
  • Contract reviews assuring the requirements are covered in the T&C.
  • Support and create reports for budget management
  • Generate cost overviews for different units

 

The role is based in Copenhagen.

  • Have an understanding of legal Terms & Conditions or at least can identify contractual risks

  • Are proficient with new technology

 

Your background and skills include:

  • Master's or equivalent degree in finance, business or law 
  • 3-5 years of experience in similar roles
  • Prior experience with admin tasks and accounting/financial statements
  • Effective communication and collaborative skills
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI and AI tools
