Fundamental Equities is the largest and fastest growing equity boutique in Nordea Asset Management. Nordea is a leading Nordic asset manager with an expanding international presence and AUM of €264 billion as of 2Q 2024.
In the Fundamental Equities boutique, we manage high conviction portfolios along core geographical focus areas, including our sustainable flagship STARS portfolios; Global STARS, European STARS, North American STARS, Emerging Markets STARS, and Asian STARS. In addition, the boutique manages thematic strategies in the Sustainable Thematic team, including Climate & Environment, Climate Engagement and Global Impact. We have a highly disciplined investment process and a proven team with multi decades of active fundamental equities investing. This team and process have attracted some of the most discerning clients in the Nordics, Continental Europe, US and Asia.
Fundamental Equities is operating out of Copenhagen, Stockholm and Singapore and includes 32 investment professionals. A diverse boutique, 15 nationalities and languages are represented.
The selected Senior Portfolio Specialist will support the development and communication of our STARS and future sustainable equity products range. You will also assist in the interaction between the investment team and distribution channels, as well as with key internal and external stakeholders.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support Head of Fundamental Equities in developing, growing and maintaining ESG portfolio offering
- Work closely with PMs in STARS and lead marketing efforts on their behalf
- Gain in-depth knowledge of STARS investment process and portfolios
- Initiate and run marketing, communication and reporting tasks of core portfolios, Global STARS, European STARS, North American STARS, Emerging Markets STARS, and Asian STARS in addition to mandates
- Lead and coordinate RFP process and client specific requests
- Develop new sustainable portfolio concepts and business opportunities complementary to STARS
- Originate presentation materials and proactively improve existing materials
- Forge great working relationship with internal and external stakeholders
- Represent STARS investment strategies in webinars, events, client discussions and social media

Your experience and background:
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree within Finance / Investments
- Min. 10 years of total working experience in active equity strategies, preferably with investment decision mandate
- A proven history of developing portfolio and investment communication angles
- Expertise in developing new sustainable equity products
- Solid understanding of peers and the ESG landscape
- Full professional proficiency in English. Scandinavian and additional European languages preferred, but not required
- Written materials and/or video demonstrating your ability to articulate investment strategies
