Project Manager with agile experience to Nordea Asset Management, Copenhagen

Your future responsibilities

 

Project Office is a team within Operations & Technology in Nordea Asset Management.

 

We are a Project Management Office (PMO) and our main service is to manage larger development initiatives with a strategic and/or complex offset across our global value chain.  We drive both in an agile and waterfall setting, utilizing the appropriate frameworks. We also define best practices and methodologies for how to execute development initiatives to ensure we work efficiently and meet the agreed goals. We are also responsible for keeping the strategic development portfolio on track and facilitates the all processes around the entire portfolio e.g. by servicing our prioritization board.

 

The work requires deep planning knowledge, excellent communication skills, a high drive and interest in close engagement with stakeholders across the value chain. As Senior Project Manager you will play a lead role in driving the implementation of our strategy.

 

What you’ll be doing:

 

  • Start up a virtual team based on agile methodology as a scrum master
  • Be responsible and deliver cross-functional development initiatives effectively and innovations key to the strategy by being an independent driver for one or more development initiatives
  • Translate business needs to tangible objectives, plan and follow up on deliverables throughout the whole lifecycle of the development initiative.
  • Being able to deconstruct problems and roadblocks and guide participants towards solutions and motivate your team to collaborates effectively with the rest of the organization to deliver impact.
  • Be in close dialogue with your key stakeholders at all times and be responsible for reporting and follow up on your development initiatives
  • Contribute to a strong project portfolio management
  • Contribute to the development of our team capabilities and be part of a movement of the team to the next level to perform in an agile and waterfall setting in the entire organization.

Your experience and background:

 

  • Certified Project manager (PMP/IPMA/Prince2) or Scrum Master is required combined with a solid understanding on how to work and operate within this methodology
  • Several years of working experience within project management, agile methodology etc.
  • Experience in related roles in a complex industry and/or experience or from a management consulting firm.
  • Experience from the financial sector it’s a strong benefit, but not a requirement.
  • You have a relevant Master’s degree with strong results.
  • Proficient user of Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Jira and other relevant tools, if you have skills in e.g. Power BI or similar it’s an advantage but not a prerequisite
