About this opportunity 

Within Transaction Banking(TxB), Business Development the customer comes first. Our employees strive to deliver the best customer experience and provide relevant offers and services to the customers while securing feasibility and viability of the propositions. With close to ten million customers, TxB Business Development is responsible for the creation of attractive transaction banking customer propositions to private and business customers in the Nordics and drive efficiency improvements across value chains in order to support delivery of business-critical outcomes within TxB. 

As a (Senior) Business Developer you will get a chance to join a small Pricing Excellence hub focused on pricing processes, principles and tools in Transaction Banking. We collaborate with data analysts, product managers and sales professionals, among others, to help Nordea reach its targets. Our work spans from anything between straightforward process improvements to deep-diving pricing analyses. We are a close and delivery-focused team spread across the Nordics and the role is based in any of the Nordic capitals or Gothenburg. 

What you will be doing (in cooperation with and with support from the rest of the team): 

• Running and improving pricing-related processes (incl. annual price reviews) in cooperation with our closest stakeholders 
• Coordinating and improving internal and external pricing-related communication 
• Analysing the market with a focus on competitor pricing and value propositions 
• Performing analyses on our abilities to improve our performance in pricing, turning them into recommendations and seeing through that the proposals are put to practise 
• Partnering with stakeholders across TxB and beyond to find new opportunities in pricing and provide them with pricing expertise in new and ongoing commercial projects 

Who you are 

We are looking for a colleague with a strong basic skill set that enables them to work effectively and smoothly in our organisation. These qualities should be supplemented with a motivation to build your expertise in TxB Pricing Excellence. 

To succeed in this role, we believe that you should: 

• Possess a strong analytical mind and the ability to make use of it in practise by simplifying complex issues into easily understandable calculations, presentations and recommendations 
• Be able to get things done by coordinating and executing in an accurate, high-quality manner consistently 
• Have good stakeholder management abilities and be able to communicate skilfully and confidently cross the organisation both in spoken and written English 
• Be proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint  
• Have the ability to learn new skills and internalise new knowledge continuously 

It will help, if you also: 

• Have experience in pricing 
• Have experience in working with business development, processes and/or project management 
• Have experience in working with corporate customers and/or sales 
• Are familiar with some/all Transaction Banking services (especially cash management) 
• Understand one or several Nordic languages (especially in written) 

 
Your experience and background: 

• Master's or bachelor's degree in any field 
• 2+ years of experience within similar field
