(Senior) Product Owner for Digital Money Transfers

We are looking for a proactive and innovative Product Owner to lead and prioritize the work for a highly productive cross-functional team with skilled people, who have strong knowledge of their domain covering payments, international and domestic money transfers, invoicing, and bill payments incl. direct debits.

Welcome to Digital Customer Engagement! In our hub, we manage client facing applications and related APIs for Nordea’s customers. You will join awesome colleagues from across the world in delivering solutions to our customers in a never before seen pace, ensuring that Nordea will remain a frontrunner in digital banking services.

 

You will be part of the Product Leadership team in Money Transfers ART that consists of several Product Owners and Business analysts across Nordics.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensure that the development team delivers value
  • Define and own the vision, strategy and roadmap for the team & the products you will be responsible for
  • Prioritize work and stay close to stakeholders within Nordea
  • Monitor customer feedback and usage data to identify opportunities
  • Monitor and stay on top of competitors and best in class solutions in your domain

 

The role is based in Nordea’s Danish Head Office in Copenhagen. Some travel should be expected as the agile release train has members across the Nordics and in India. Ideal starting time is 1st of January 2026.

 

Candidate will act as Product Owner, while the actual title will be mapped to Business Developer job description, and the level will depend on the experience of the candidate. 

 

Who you are

 

This is the right role for you if you are proactive, innovative, with a can-do mind-set and ability to convert new ideas or complex requirements into concrete actions. We expect that you can take ownership, handle complex stakeholder management and are able to lead and motivate others.

 

Your background and skills include:

  • 3+ years of experience in finance industry / banking
  • Demonstrated Product Owner experience on strategic, as well as operational level
  • Experience with agile ways of working
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

 

It would be ideal if you also: 

  • Have experience with payments
