Business Designer with UI/UX focus for Intra & Nordea.com

 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Designer with a strong background in User Experience and User Interface research and design to join our team that owns both Nordea’s intranet and corporate website, Nordea.com. In this role you will blend business strategy with user-centered design, ensuring that our digital products meet both business objectives and user needs. Your expertise will help optimize user experience, drive innovative website development, and create solutions that deliver measurable value for our users.

About this opportunity
 

You will become part of the Intra & Nordea.com team in Group Marketing & Channels, where we are responsible for product development and website management of Nordea's corporate website, Nordea.com and Nordea’s intranet.

 

Your job responsibilities could include, depending on your profile and strengths, a combination of the following:

  • User research: Conduct User Experience (UX) research to understand user behaviours, needs and pain points, utilizing methods such as user interviews, surveys and usability testing.
  • UX/UI design: Translate research insights into intuitive and visually compelling designs, including wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes.
  • Business Strategy Alignment: Work closely with product owners, website managers, stakeholders, and developers to align design solutions with business goals and technical feasibility.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics and user feedback to iterate on designs and improve the overall user experience.
  • Workshops and Facilitation: Lead design workshops and co-creation sessions with cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and innovation.
  • User Journey Mapping: Develop user journey maps and service blueprints to visualize end-to-end customer experiences.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and best practices.

 

This position can be located in Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen or Oslo.

 

In your day-to-day work you will report to the Intra & Nordea.com team lead and cooperate closely with your team, which consists of product owners and website managers. Together with the team, you will also cooperate closely with our IT Development team and external vendors.

Your profile and background:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Business Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role for more than 5 years.
  • Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD. Strong skills in UX research methodologies and techniques. Analytics experience preferably using Adobe Analytics is a plus.
  • Strategy: Experience aligning design initiatives with business strategies and KPIs.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present design concepts to stakeholders.
  • Certifications and portfolio: Relevant certifications or portfolio of past projects in UX design, business design or related fields are a plus.
  • Advantageous experience: experience working with Content Management Systems (CMSs) for websites, for example Drupal, Liferay and Magnolia.
