Expert Copilot Studio Developer

København S, DK, 2300 Stockholm, SE, 111 44 Helsinki, FI, 00500 Oslo, NO, 0368

Job ID: 4464

We are seeking a senior, highly hands-on expert to design, build, and operationalise production-grade AI agents and automations in Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) with focus on Private Banking. In this role you will lead end-to-end delivery, from framing business problems and shaping solution design to industrialising and running secure, well-governed agent solutions – using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Copilot Studio), Azure AI services, and AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker). You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and control functions to accelerate large-scale AI adoption in a regulated banking environment.

Nordea is a place where traditions meet tomorrow. We're not just a bank, we're a tech employer on a mission to evolve finance securely and responsibly. Together, we impact millions of people’s daily lives by ensuring they can access our solutions anytime, anywhere, while safeguarding their personal data and wealth. Join us in making an impact on the banking industry.

About our team

Nordea is hiring for our AWM AI team in AWM Chief Operating Office (COO). The AWM COO drives operational excellence, supports business transformation, and fosters innovation across Asset & Wealth Management. Improving processes, leveraging technology, and ensuring strong governance and compliance to enable sustainable growth and superior client experiences. In this role you will work at the intersection of business transformation and advanced AI engineering, partnering closely with AWM business leaders (incl. Private Banking), architects, engineers, and control functions to turn an active AI pipeline into measurable outcomes through robust, reusable and well-governed agent solutions.

The AWM AI team is being established in AWM COO to accelerate delivery and scale of AI capabilities across AWM, with a strong focus on Private Banking and selected cross-area dependencies. We build common AI architecture and reusable patterns, support a disciplined governance model, and partner closely with business units, engineering teams, and control functions to turn an active AI pipeline into measurable outcomes.

Main responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Own delivery from idea to production: frame business problems, define success metrics, shape agent solution designs, prototype quickly, and industrialise into production-ready services
  • Own agent solutions in production: Take accountability for operational readiness, stability, and continuous improvement of deployed agents, ensuring they remain safe, effective, and compliant as usage scales.
  • Build and evolve agent solutions in Microsoft Power Platform (Copilot Studio, Power Automate and Azure AI services) and AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker), integrating with enterprise systems via APIs and secure tool access
  • Lead stakeholder collaboration end-to-end: work with AWM business owners, product leads, architects, risk/compliance and engineers to ensure value, adoption, and scalable implementation
  • Engineer for governance and safety: implement evaluations, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop patterns that meet expectations for privacy, auditability, and model risk in a regulated environment
  • Enable reuse and scale: build reusable components, patterns, and reference implementations (prompts, tools, connectors, evaluation suites) to accelerate delivery across a portfolio of AWM use cases
  • Operate and improve: monitor agent behaviour in production, iterate on prompts/tools/logic based on evals and feedback, and continuously optimise quality, cost, latency and safety
  • Drive business impact and adoption: Partner with business owners to ensure agents are not only technically sound but deliver measurable outcomes, are actively adopted by users, and become part of everyday workflows.

Who you are

Collaboration. Ownership. Passion. Courage. These are the values that guide us in how we work and how we make decisions – and that we imagine you share with us.

This is the right role for you if you are a curious, outcome-driven and pragmatic senior engineer who can take ownership, influence stakeholders, and raise engineering and governance standards while delivering working solutions at pace. You enjoy working in cross-functional teams and you are comfortable operating in an environment with high expectations on security, risk management and auditability. You naturally lead through expertise and execution, setting technical and governance standards for agent development and serving as a trusted senior counterpart to architects, engineers, and control functions.

Your background and skills include:

  • 7+ years of professional experience building enterprise solutions on Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and Copilot Studio (design, build, release and operate)
  • Strong cloud experience across Azure and AWS, including deploying AI services and integrating with enterprise platforms via secure APIs
  • Hands-on experience with agentic/LLM solution patterns (tool calling, planner–executor, multi-agent and human-in-the-loop) and strong prompting and Retrieval Augmented techniques (e.g., vector databases and grounding strategies)
  • Production experience with generative AI applications, including evaluation practices (quality/correctness, latency, cost, safety) and responsible AI/guardrails
  • Strong programming skills in Python and Java, including development of services for automation, data processing, and API/MCP integrations; disciplined engineering practices (testing, modular design, version control)
  • Experience with containerisation (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code/CLIs (Terraform, Microsoft Power Platform CLI) for scalable, production-grade deployments
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD and DevOps ways of working (e.g., Bitbucket, Jenkins), including release governance and operational readiness
  • Ability to document and version workflows, prompts, tools and scripts in accordance with governance requirements (auditability, traceability, risk controls)

It would be ideal if you also:

  • Have strong business engineering skills: analyse end-to-end workflows, translate stakeholder needs into requirements/KPIs, and drive adoption in partnership with business owners
  • Have a keen interest in data, grounding and context management (e.g., analytics platforms such as Snowflake), and how to design agent solutions that are reusable at scale

Why join

You will join a team building practical, high-impact AI capabilities across AWM—working on real advisor and operational workflows, with strong visibility and a clear focus on measurable outcomes. You will help shape how we build, govern, and scale agentic AI in a Nordic, regulated banking context.

If you are passionate about agentic AI and eager to make a tangible impact in AWM, we invite you to apply and join our innovative COO team.
