FX Spot Trader - Chief Dealer

We are looking for an experienced trader to be part of the FX spot trading desk. The team is a part of the FX franchise in Nordea Markets which covers products ranging from FX Spot to FX options to FX Swaps and FX Forwards. 

About our team

The FX spot team is one of several trading teams within FX Trading. We work closely together with tech and sales in our FX franchise across the Nordic region. This is a unique opportunity to work in a franchise with a diverse background in skills and knowledge enabling us to be on a continuous journey towards being more relevant, profitable and robust in the fast-paced and ever-changing financial market. The FX spot trading franchise is highly electronic and is heavily dependent on a data driven and automated approach represented by our trading algorithms. 

What you’ll be doing:

• You will be involved in market making, managing risk positions and analysing the market
• You will be part of optimising and running current automated trading strategies through our algo
• You will be part of enhancing and automating the trading activities
• You will trade with clients and liquidity providers through many, primarily, electronic venues while also managing internal and external stakeholders
• You will be part of developing the FX franchise
• You will be part of a motivated and engaging team in which we appreciate our individual values and qualities that help us shape our team

Your background and skills include:

• Minimum 5y practical experience as a market maker of FX spot or similar electronically traded financial product
• Quantitative mindset enabling you to utilise data to analyse, participate in discussions and make conclusions based on data
