About this opportunity
Welcome to the Data, Digital Sales & Engagement media performance team. As a Google Ads specialist, you will be a part of a passionate DDS&E team consisting of specialists within paid media, SEO, Content, CRO and Analytics and others.
You will work the with the performance of our always on Google Ads campaigns, from Search to Demand Gen to Youtube, that aim to engage, promote and sell our banking products and solutions to Nordea customers as well as prospect customers through relevant and engaging advertisements.
Within Personal Banking Data, Digital Sales & Engagement, we aim to be courageous and explorative in our approach. We are working in digital journey teams and in an agile environment where we analyse, plan, test and execute and grow together – and we need your skills, ideas and unique background to be able to take the next step.
What you’ll be doing:
- Translate business objectives to impactful Google Ads strategies
- Set the right Google Ads channel mix based on the sales, communication and creative strategy.
- Daily hands-on management and optimization of Google Ads campaigns.
- Manage performance reports and analytics insights
- Manage return on ad spend (ROAS)
- Always challenge the status quo
- Manage collaboration with Google support and other internal stakeholders.
You’ll join a data-driven team focused on digital media performance and committed to maximizing returns on online investments.
The role is based in Copenhagen and covers the Danish market. You will have peers locally and in the other Nordic countries with whom you will work closely together with. By knowledge sharing and initiatives across borders we make a bigger impact.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
- Are passionate about digital media and digital marketing performance
- Experienced in driving ROI/ROAS from Google Ads
- Have a digital media and creative performance mindset
- Are a digital native, passionate for anything digital marketing related
- Are numerate and have strong analytical skills, using analytics tools to monitor, measure and provide insight on behaviour that can drive leads and sales
- Thrive in a complex environment, generating ideas, solving problems independently and communicate these ideas and decisions effectively to team members and stakeholders
Your experience and background:
- Experienced paid search specialist
- Proven experience in driving online leads and sales from Google Ads
- Hands-on experience managing paid Google search campaigns. Bing also preferable
- Hands-on experience of using analytics platforms like Adobe, Google Analytics, etc.
- Experience working with a major financial brand would be preferable
- Fluency in both written and verbal Danish & English (professional level) is required
- Master degree in marketing, advertising, business or related field. Equivalent years of working experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
