Nordea Group Creative is looking for a student assistant to support our team on creating visual communication in different channels and formats. We are looking for a person passionate about telling stories and ensuring good visual expression to build branded experiences across the bank. We are looking for someone that engages well in understanding the creative challenges and proposing innovative solutions, while following creative directions, respecting brand guidelines besides having a joyful positive attitude.
About this opportunity
Group Creative is Nordea’s in-house agency working with different aspects of creativity for marketing, communication, and branding. We are 11 people skilled in different aspects of our trade, including video & media creation, graphic design and motion graphics. You will work together with our Group Creative Director and the rest of the team to develop and deliver solutions based on the requests from different business areas.

You will be part of the Group Brand, Communication & Marketing team located in Denmark and will work with primary focus to support the Norwegian marketing team and developing templates for our Creative Management Platform.
Responsibilities
As a Student Assistant, you will have the chance of learning and building your competences in a positive environment that will give you the necessary support to feel creatively challenged, to grow, and to be part of a great team.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Create graphic design assets for digital, social media, and print with copy sent to you in different Nordic languages, primarily Norwegian. So, knowledge in this language is a big plus.
- Work on adjusting already made designs from other graphic designers.
- Follow brand guidelines and be a brand ambassador for the Nordea brand.
- Edit and treat photography, videos or illustrations.
- Work and give inputs from an art direction perspective.
- Support projects with animated graphic animations and motion graphics.
- Build up simplified concepts for small and medium local campaigns on Nordea official social media channels.
- Have sparring sessions with counter parts, marketing managers, and other colleagues to ideate on how to solve creative challenges presented to you.
- Be part of active discussions about graphic design and video production with your colleagues across the bank.
- Do photography on simple projects and shoot and produce simple social media content projects.
More about you
We are looking for a passionate person who loves creativity and has a good visual literacy while feeling engaged in the corporate environment of a financial institution. You are a person that appreciates artwork, photography or other forms of visual creativity and feels engaged in translating your repertoire to design projects.
We are also interested in having a new colleague who has:
- Work experience: 1-2 year of experience working with graphic design, art direction, or content creation according to brand guidelines and corporate visual identities with the ability to deliver creative work according to given brief and deadlines.
- Software proficiency: you have experience and have a good level of proficiency on Adobe Creative tools or other similar software – i.e. Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Figma.
- Extra competences:
- Feels comfortable and have some experience performing motion graphic tasks (i.e. animations, video graphics and other solutions).
- Has a theoretic or practical understanding of art direction and feels interested with such type of work.
- Good acumen of the marketing and advertising industry.
- Has a good understanding of what performs well in social media and is able to film and produce small social media videos and content.
- Language: proficiency in English and good knowledge of Nordic languages, Norwegian is considered an advantage.
- Education: you are currently studying on a bachelor’s or a master’s degree within the areas of arts, graphic design, advertising, marketing, business communication, or similar.
- Learning attitude: you’re keen to learn daily and feels happy on trying new things, and proactively discover new solutions independently.
