Head of AWM AI

København S, DK, 2300 Stockholm, SE, 111 44

Job ID: 4462

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of AWM AI to join our Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) Chief Operating Office (COO). The ideal candidate will possess extensive practical experience in implementing AI use cases, with a strong preference for expertise in agentic AI solutions - especially experience enabling the private banking advisor flow end-to-end (from opportunity identification and client insights to meeting preparation, recommendations, and follow-up). This role is critical to advancing our AI strategy and delivering impactful solutions across AWM.

About our team

The AWM COO is responsible for driving operational excellence, supporting business transformation, and fostering innovation within Asset & Wealth Management. We focus on optimizing processes, leveraging technology, and ensuring compliance to enable sustainable growth and superior client experiences. The COO team collaborates across functions to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategic initiatives that enhance the overall performance of the organization.

Main responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Own the AWM AI strategy, roadmap, and value realization - prioritizing a portfolio of high-impact AI/agentic AI use cases and delivering measurable outcomes (e.g., advisor capacity uplift, faster time-to-advice, improved client conversion/retention, reduced operational risk and cost).
  • Accelerate advisor performance by deploying agentic AI that enables the private banking advisor flow end-to-end (research, client insights, meeting prep, next-best-actions, and follow-up), driving adoption and measurable productivity/quality gains with robust human-in-the-loop controls.
  • Partner with Private Banking leadership, COO, Technology, and Control functions to identify, size, and execute AI-driven transformation opportunities across the advisor workflow and adjacent operations, ensuring clear accountability and rapid time-to-value.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery from concept to production and scaled adoption – defining KPIs, running disciplined experimentation, and reporting quantified impact (e.g., revenue uplift, cost reduction, risk/control effectiveness, and advisor/client experience improvements) to senior leadership.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging AI technologies and best practices relevant to asset and wealth management.

Location is Copenhagen or Stockholm.

Who you are

This is the right role for you if you are a curious, innovative team player with a can-do attitude, always looking for ways on how we can unlock the next level for our customers.

Your background and skills include:

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and program management skills, with a proven record of AI impact – shipping AI/GenAI solutions to production, driving sustained adoption, and delivering quantified business outcomes (e.g., advisor efficiency gains, improved time-to-advice, client conversion uplift, cost takeout, and control/risk improvements) in partnership with technology, risk, and compliance.
  • Strong, hands-on experience delivering AI products from idea to production (problem framing, data, model selection, evaluation, deployment, and continuous improvement), including agentic AI, with tangible outcomes in advisor-facing workflows (ideally in private banking/wealth management).
  • Strong understanding of asset and wealth management business processes, with demonstrated ability to translate front-office needs (advisor workflow) into AI use cases, product requirements, and measurable KPIs.
  • Experience designing, testing, and operating agentic AI systems in a regulated environment (e.g., governance, privacy, model risk, auditability), including human-in-the-loop controls and guardrails appropriate for client-facing advisor enablement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
