Would you like to be part of a combined business and technology team located on the trading floor in our Copenhagen office? You will be responsible for providing data design patterns and integration that enable different systems to interact and exchange information across the whole bank. We are looking for an innovative IT analyst to work with our strategic data sources for the financial transactions value chain.

About our team

 

Welcome to Trading Data Services within Markets and Traded Products Technology at Nordea. Our team is responsible for providing data and integration solutions across the bank through its messaging platforms (Kafka), standardized APIs, and operational data stores.

 

You will become a member of our agile cross-functional team of talented people. Working from our base in Copenhagen, where we enjoy meeting in the office, you will be cooperating with our IT and business teams across Large Corporates & Institutions in all our locations.

 

Your future responsibilities

 

You will act as the link between our technical teams and business areas, enabling good communication of the business requirements and data design decisions in an accurate manner. You will also support other teams in onboarding to our systems while ensuring that the team delivers the right functionality for the business. You must be able to do both very hands-on daily tasks and manage the deliveries with various stakeholders and teams, and you should be used to working towards demanding deadlines.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop data formats and models for the financial transactions value stream in accordance with our data strategy
  • Provide technical support to new data providers in preparing and setting up new operational data stores and public topics on the messaging platform
  • Offer guidance to existing data providers when changes to formatting and data structures are needed to ensure the data governance model is followed
  • Support existing and new data consumers to identify the necessary data, to understand data formatting and structure, and to document potential issues in the available data
  • In collaboration with other teams, ensure to improve data quality, increase data completeness, avoid duplications and continuously keeping the overview of data updated

You have as well knowledge/skills within:

  • An interest in data strategy and financial products

  • A true team player and put the team’s goals ahead of the individual

 

Your background and skills include:

  • Relevant university qualifications or work experience, preferably with some database or coding experience
  • Experience with Data Management and Data Integration is an advantage but not a requirement
  • Enjoy interaction with other people
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
